Product Reviews: Kurgo Booster Seat
I received my items from KURGO today. I am looking forward to trying them out on Chazz. Check back here for the results.
I actually tried out & tested the Kurgo Booster Seat prior to attending BLOGPAWS2011 Social Media & Networking Conference:
This seat, designed for the car comes in a variety of color combinations with a detachable liner.
Installation: Setup & installation on this unit is a breeze, and it took me less than 5 minutes to have it ready for my dog to jump in. Once you open up the seat, you remove the inside liner to slip the brace/reinforcement metal bar into place. The bar goes through two holes, one on each side, and then each end fits into a small tube-like piece to lock it in place. This bar maintains the shape of the seat as it hangs from the headrest. There are two “seat belt-like” straps that wrap around the back of the seat and clasp together. Finally you take the long strap, connect it to the ring on the side of the seat, bring it around the headrest and connect up to the other side. Both the headrest strap & the back strap are adjustable. The seat is easily removable and can be used in either the front or the back seats of the automobile.
Performance: This seat holds a dog up to 30 lbs. My dog, who weighs in at 18 lbs. was able to sit comfortably, curled up in the seat and look out the windows. He also would rest his head on the edge of the booster seat when he got tired of looking out. He adapted to the seat quickly, and on our second trip he was able to get in by himself with some encouragement.
Material: The removable liner is ez to take off, and is machine washable.
